Slessor is a Malawian Hip Hop artist who has shot across the Malawian music charts with hit singles such as “Pachiwaya””, “Swag yakabaza” and “Achisale” which were taken from his debut album “Nkhani za Ku Malawi. The album had songs that enjoyed airplay on both local television and radio stations.

2014
Slessor released a mixtape called “Renaissance” which also featured artists such as former Malawian big brother africa star, Lomwe, Cyclone and dancehall sensation Saint. The mixtape recieved a great response and is still regarded as one of the best mixtapes from a new school rapper
2016
He then released his debut album “Nkhani za Ku Malawi”which featured female raggae dance hall artist Sangie, Nepman, Saint and Trap-squad. The album was based on real life stories which occur in Malawi and some of the challenges being faced.
2017
Redefition Mixtape. In 2017 he released the Redefinition which earned him a nomination at the UMP awards under the album of the year category. He was later featured in the UMP cypher. Slessor’s style of delivery,punchlines and bilingual capabilities have made him earn a spot as one of Malawi’s hip hop stars.
